Dear Pony Pals

Everyone at Wiggins Elementary is counting the days until holiday vacation. Stores are getting ready for the holidays, too. Kline's will have new clothing items very soon. Grandma Sanders Salon will open and promises lots of new hairstyles for members' avatars.

Our scavenger hunt is so poplular that we have changed the prizes. High score now gets 3,000 Wiggins Bucks and the next nine members each get 500 apiece. Start scavenging!

By popular request, we also changed it so when a member has started a quest or a scavenger hunt in Wiggins but wants to stop, they can just quit wherever they are!

All they have to do is click on their inventory to open it, find their quest or scavenger hunt picture and click on it.  Then a pop up box opens. "What would you like to do with your quest (or scavenger hunt)?"  The choices are "show" and "quit."

If someone clicks "show," then their quest or scavenger hunt pull-down menu drops down in the play window's upper left corner and the member can keep on playing.

But if someone clicks "quit," then whatever pull down down menu was open goes away. The quest or scavenger hunt note goes back to wherever it was when it was last accepted.

Remember, any items that have already been dropped off in a quest or scavenger hunt are gone and not returned to a member's inventory.

In the forum, members now can choose not to get w mailed about a forum thread. There is a button that says, "no, thanks." If someone clicks it, then they will stop being notified with postings from that "thread" of w-mails. If a member wants a thread deleted, they can post a note on that thread to request that Admin do that, too.

Last, we still see hundreds of new member sign ups every week with profiles that say "I want to make pals here!"

So, take a moment, visit the "Pals, Please Page" and click on some usernames. See who is new and wants to meet other members who like ponies as much as they do!

Remember, each and every line of writing that a member submits is reviewed by a live adult before it can post. That includes our daily Live Moderated Chat. A real, live adult admin monitors all entries before they can appear.

Voting is now open for our November Story and Poem Contest. These stories and poems are great. Make sure read them, then vote for your favorites.
