Dear Pony Pals

As our members' personal profiles pour in, the question we see most often is "how can I meet other members here?"

Until our avatars & multiplayer space are ready as a meeting spot, there are a couple of ways for members to find fellow members who share the same interests.

First, make sure to fill in your own page's "what I want other Pony Pals to know" box.

Then, go to the Forum main page. Next click on "Mrs. Crandal."  When her topics appear, click on "JOIN A PONY PALS CLUB HERE."  That will bring up a list of green boxes with club links in them. Each box will show who started the club with their user name and their pony avatar.

        "Horse and Pony Lovers Club"
        "I Want a Pony Club"
         "Want A Pony Pen Pal?"
         "Horse Fun Club"
         "The Mares Club"
         "Pony Writers and Drawers Club"
         "Vegan and Veggies Club"
        "ACOTW"
        "The Forest Stallion -- new story club"
         "How I finally got a pony stories"
         "Pony or Horse Owner's Club"
         "Horse Shows and Showing Club"
       
A club's member list may show someone you would like to make your pal.

When you find that member, you can click on their username. If you want, you can click on their username and see if they have posted anything in thir "about me" box. You can "cut and paste" their username. To go back to your personal page, just click on "close window."

Back on your own personal page, if you think this this is someone who you would want to be your pal, then go to your personal page and "paste" it in your page's "search for pals" box.  Click on "send this pal a gift." The very first card in our gift catalog asks "Will you Be My Pony Pal?" It is yellow, red and only costs one Wiggins Buck.

If the member to whom you are sending this accepts your card, then you will be pals. When you log into your page again, look for a "you have pal requests" next to "My Pals."  Or look for a green triangle next to  "new gifts."  After you accept a gift or a pal request, then you and your new pal can send messages directly to each other. 

There other ways to find members who share your interests. One simple way is to click on every page top's "Forum" button. On the main Forum page, you can choose between "Messages to Pals," "Pam Crandal, Anna Harley, Lulu Sanders or Mrs. Crandal." 

When you click on the green triangles next to these names, you will open a list  "threads" or topics that have series' of members' messages. When you click on a green triangle next to a topic, a list of green boxes will open. In them are posts from members, whose usernames are posted next their message.  

If you see posts that show interests you share, then follow the same steps as above. "Cut and paste" their username and send a member a card.

MORE NEWS: FEATURES

We have a new active feature -- now you can send many gifts at once to several or all of your pals. When you click on "Gift or W-mail My Pals" your pals list will appear. When you click on "Send this Pal a gift," our gift catalog pops up. Then when you send one pal a gift, a new window will pop on. This new window tells you to whom your gift was sent and ask "Want to send one to more pals?"

Your entire list of pals is in a box. You can highlight any number of them you want. Then you will see how much it will cost to send these gifts. If you click "buy item" then they will go out. Or if you change your mind, you can click on "cancel" and they will not go out.

Within a couple of days, your pals list in the multi gift window will be in alphabetical order! It will be easier to use.

Our math game awards are now 500 Wiggins Bucks for first place, 100 Wiggins Bucks for the next nine runners up. Start playing those math games to get Bucks to buy saddles, tack and more!
