LETTERS
TO LULU
Dear Lulu, I think snow seems to never go away some times, but now I really want to snow! How are you and Acorn doing?
Ellie
Dear Pony Pal Ellie
I think Acorn is fine. He is Anna's pony. My pony's name is Snow White. She is good too. Her name is just right for this time of year. It is freezing rain now but it will be snow in a couple of days. I like snow during the start and middle of winter. After that I am ready for spring. How are ponies doing where you are?
Pony Pals,

Hi, my name is Taylor. I love horses and ponies and have read all your books. I am taking English riding lessons, and I love it. How much did Snow White cost? Do you like Western riding?
Taylor
Dear Pony Pal Taylor
Thanks for writing. It is great that you have read so many Pony Pals books. I ride English, so do Anna and Pam. My grandma paid for Snow White from money my dad left with her while he is in Africa. Western saddles are OK. Sometimes they are useful, like when Pam needs to lead another pony to help it calm down or learn to be with other ponies. Western saddle horns are useful. They were made for doing work on horseback.

Dear Lulu,
Sorry I didn't write for so long. Today is my swimming lesson. I like to get letters from you. I have to go to school now. Please write back. Love
Alyssa
Dear Pony Pal Alyssa
Swimming? It must be warm where you are or an indoor pool. School is OK this year. I am studying geography. I look at maps where my dad is in Africa. I hope he is back for Christmas. I miss him. What are you studying?

Kati
Dear Pony Pal Kati
My grandma and I had dinner at home. We made a turkey breast. I helped her bake some yeast-raised rolls. It was cool to see the dough rise and then punch it down. Friday I packed some extra rolls to take the Quinns on our Pony Pal afternoon ride. It was fun to see Ginger and Pal again. How was your holiday? Are their ponies where you are? Thanks for writing.

Dear Lulu, Happy Thanksgiving. Cimmaron's hoof is doing fine. Annie's doing fine. Thanks for asking. Have a good weekend. Have fun at the sleepover tomorrow. Please tell Pam, her family, Anna, her family, your family, Lightning, Acorn, Snow White, Woolie, and Shadow that I said Happy Thanksgiving. Have a good weekend. Please respond PDQ the second after you get this E-Mail. Friends, Cayce
Dear Pony Pal Cayce
Thanks for the good wishes. The sleepover was fun. It was COLD out. But we all stayed warm in sleeping bags. Hearing our ponies nearby was comforting. We went to see the Quinns before our sleepover. Lightning was frisky in the cool weather. She was happy to see Ginger again. Mrs. Clark was happy we visited the Quinns. Sometimes old people don't get many visitors. I am glad to hear Cimmaron's hoof is OK. Feet for horses are very, very important. I think even more than people.

Dear Lulu we wish could meet you we should introduce ourselves. Libby/Lulu, Kayleigh/Pam and Sarah/Anna. We are super BIG fans of the pony pals that is why are names have slashes. We are BIG fans of horses too. we wish we could go trail riding with you and we e-mailed Anna that if she had four horses we could use one each but sadly we don’t have any horses so that is why we ask to borrow a horse but if she doesn’t have any more than one can we borrow three of yours if you have any please.
Dear Pony Pals Libby, Kayleigh, Sarah
I have just one pony, she is named Snow White. But you can adopt one or even several more online ponies at ClubPonyPals. Then you can practice grooming each one. The Webmaster is working real hard on getting a trail riding game finished. Then the site's code writer is rebuilding the barn so it will work better. I am glad you are all fans of the Pony Pals books. Reading lots will make your lives better. How was your holiday?

Hi Lulu!
I think it’s really nice the way ‘Rae’ – or Rema! – let you have Snow White. I don’t think she was that stuck up. I must admit, your grandmother’s hair salon sounds awful, but how nice was it that she let you keep Snow White! How much money do you have in your account, anyway? Is it enough to pay for the feed for Snow White?
From Jessica
Dear Pony Pal Jessica
I am thankful that I got to keep Snow White. Even though my grandma does not particularly like ponies, she likes me and my dad - her son. Like pretty much everyone, Rema does some things I don't like and other things that are OK. Everybody is a mix like that. My dad gives my grandma money every few months to pay for my living expenses. That includes Snow White's feed, shoeing, shots and other things. I help my grandma when I can. I wish my dad was around more. But I know his work is mostly overseas. I hope he is home for Christmas.

I have not been to New Zealand. What's it like? Jess and Jack are cool names. What kind of ponies are they? Can you send photos?

Pam and Anna have big hearts. There's enough room for both you and Charlie.
Cayce
Dear Pony Pal Cayce
Thanks for writing. Charlie is a nice boy. He likes horses and ponies. They like him. I think that is because he is patient and understanding. He also has enough courage to get on new horses when they need to get used to someone as a rider who is not afraid of them.
