Write an Article for the Pony Pals Magazine

Our Pony Pals Magazine features members' stories. Winning stories and poems will be published in Pony Pals Magazine. All entries must be original, meaning that the member who enters them must have written the text. To be eligible the story or poem must have a horse or pony in it someplace. All entries published in the Magazine will earn 500 Wiggins Bucks, the best stories and poems will earn 3000 Wiggins bucks and trophy for the writer. Articles must be at least 500 words long.

We also want cartoons, book reviews, letters and photos. If a kids face is shown in the photos, we must have a written note from their parent saying it is OK. Free as Can Be
by Roncy

A running mare
With no worries at all;
So tall and so fair,
She's as free as can be.

So happy here,
In the forest so lively;
She has not a fear;
She's as free as can be.

Squirrels running up pines so tall,
Does trotting in the shrubs;
This horse will never fall;
She's free as can be.

In the summer breeze
She never tires;
Without cough or wheeze,
She's as free as can be.

I could run with her,
But I'd never keep up;
The wind blowing in her fur...
She's as free as can be.

I do not know
How she never grows weary;
What I do know, though:
She's as free as can be.

God gave her that gift;
There she goes, into the lake
She splashes, her mane adrift,
She's as free as can be.

You can watch her 'till she's out of sight,
As she trots into the mist,
She disappears with a flash of light;
She will always be free.
