I’d like you guys to meet Molly.  Molly is a 11hh POA pony who was abandoned by her owner when Hurricane Katrina hit. Molly roamed the streets looking for food and water. She was finally rescued Kaye Harris, who runs a pony rescue. After Katrina Harris took in as many rescues are she could, including some dog. Unfortunately, a pit bull Harris took in was going through emotional trauma and took it out on poor Molly. Molly was rushed to the vet. Her vet went to Louisiana State University for help. LSU was up for the challenge of amputating the little pony’s leg.

Molly’s surgery went fine. She is now up and about using her prosthetic leg. Molly now works as a “theraputic friend” for children.
