Know How To Fall

  I grabbed my black and red lead shank and went out to the pasture with Buttercup, Bambino, Prince, Eclipse, and Holly. I attached my shank to Eclipse’s blue sparkle halter. I led him out through the gate to cross- ties in front of his stall. I opened my tack trunk and grabbed my grooming box. I grabbed the green blue curry comb and brushed Eclipse’s fur in circles. I grabbed my dandy brush and brushed him then picked his hooves. I put my blue saddle pad under my chestnut brown saddle. I snapped my helmet on. Then put my bridle on. I led him out to the ring.

Eclipse and I glided over the coop. I loved the feeling of being suspended in air for 3 seconds.
“Paige, halt where you are!” Lela my trainer told me.
I did. Locket galloped into the ring and went over some jumps. Eclipse reared and dropped me to the ground where I landed unconscious.
