The Pony Pals Photo Adventure

One sunny August day, Pam and her friends were at the Crandal's Stable grooming their horses and cleaning their tack. They were glad to be under a roof. Pam said “I heard there’s a new trail next to the Pony Pal trail! Lets check it out.” They all got their cameras and tacked up their horses. And they hit the trail. They wanted to see if they could find something new there. Once they got there one of them opened the gate and  went inside. They saw lots and lots of pretty birds. They saw a grasshopper about 2 inches long! The trail was a beautiful trail! It was as beautiful as a dressed up pony!

They got to the middle of the trail. Then they saw animal traps! It was illegal in their state. The girls took pictures of all of the traps they saw. They even saw several of them with a dead animal killed from them. Some of them had a little smelly thing or something  that looked like a food and it made them ill .It was a very sad thing to see them like that. The girls didn’t want to see any more traps, so they turned around and headed to downtown. It felt to them, that the girls were an animal that stepped in a trap and died.

Finally, they arrived at downtown. They went to a store that developed photos. They waited 15 minutes to develop their photos. Pam and her friends watched as they did each step they did very carefully as if it was a delicate decoration. Finally, it was done. They put their photos in their backpacks and went to mount up on their horses. They rode to the Crandal's Stable and walked their horses to Pam’s dad. The girls gave the pictures to Dr. Crandal and Pam said “We took these pictures at the new trail.” Dr.Crandal examined the pictures carefully. After a few minutes, he said “I’ll send these pictures to the Forest Ranger, OK.” And with that, the girls said “OK”.

The girls lead their ponies to their stable and started un tacking and grooming their horses. Pam said after she got out of her pony’s stable, “This was a great day, wasn’t it?” and they all said “Yea!!!!!”
