The Firework Horse by Chedder & Black Mint  age 9

Once there was a horse named Firebolt. Firebolt had a dot on his hoove that was shaped like a firebolt. He was a Appaloosa. Firebolt was brown, and had a black tail and maine. He was three years old. Firebolt had a owner named Amy. Amy was eleven years old. She has blond hair and brown eyes. Firebolt always loves the fourth of July because of the fireworks. One day Amy was having a sleepover in her barn on the fourth of July. With all of her friends and they all had their horse. Okay, everybody i'm gonna tell you all a story that happened on the fourth of July that happened last year. Here it is:

on the Fourth of July me and my family went to the beach it was July third.Firebolt and I were sleeping together in the horse trailer.Okay,Firebolt its 11:59.

ten,nine,eight,seven,six,five,four,three,two,one HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY FIREBOLT!!!

Nay nay nay! Wait where are you going Firebolt? Firebolt was running away really fast. Amy was just laying in the horse trailer crying. Twelve hours later when it was 12:00, Amy,her mom,and her dad were sitting in the campsite breathless. Then her dad said: Amy,what if Firebolt ran home? He would never leave us alone like that,said Amy. I'm gonna go to the beach,said Amy. Amy was just sitting on the sand watching the sunset on the waves. All this sudden a man came up and said:

the fireworks are going off in one hour tell your family! Then he ran off. well I should go,said Amy. One hour later Amy her mom and dad were sitting on the beach. Mom,dad its not the same without Firebolt going crazy for the fireworks. Then Amy burst into tears. Nay nay. Amy looked up. Firebolt,Amy yelled! Then she ran up and hugged him so hard.Firebolt, where did you go,said Amy? Well never do that again.

Well, Firebolt came just in time,the fireworks are starting now,said Amy's mom.
