  One day, at River Creek Stables a girl named, Saria Silver, was tacking up her horse, Rain.

"I hope we get into the intermediate riding team, not beginner," she kept whispering to Rain.

She finished grooming Rain and they started walking too the indoor arena. She sat down in a chair in the arena with another ten girls, clutching Rain's reins.

All the other girl were doing the same, except for a girl who was in a very fancy riding jacket. Probably, one of the mean, rich, girls, she thought.

"Maria Luicia!" Mr. David, the riding instructor said. Maria was pretty good.

"Beginner!" Mr. David said.

Wow, this must be tough she is pretty good, I thought for sure she'd be in intermediate, Saria thought. Eight more girls went and all got beginner. This is it if I make intermediate, I'll be the only new person too make it on the team!

Saria thought. "Saria Silver!" Mr. David called.

Saria mounted Rain and trotted her to the entrance of the ring.

She was scared on the first jump but then noticed how awesome they did and pulled her self together and started believing she could do it. Rain cleared seven more jumps in a terrific canter and in record time. "Intermediate!" Mr. David yelled.

Saria put both hands in the air even though it was a risk because they were going really fast. She was so happy and thought, I know I can do anything on my pony, Rain! That was just the beginning of her fun riding at River Creek Stables! But, Rain and Saria can do anything together now that she believes in Rain!
