I Try To Write A Poem

I try to write a poem, I try to make it rhyme
I try to act like it doesn’t take up all my time.
By brain begins to slowly freeze,
I need a snack to put it back at ease!
Writing a poem is harder than I thought,
It seemed so easy when my English teacher taught! These words swirl up and jumble in my brain,
If I think again, I may go insane!
Tell me the words I need to say,
Tell me which ones will make your day.
Tell me the words that sound good together,
Tell me how to know if forever!
