Midnight's Adventures

Midnight gallops through the woods as fast as she can while trying to escape the wolf that is after her. Midnight turns around to see if the wolf is still there, but luckily it isn’t.  She stops and looks for a place to go and lie down. She goes over to an Oak tree and lies down beside it. Midnight fell asleep and woke back up all throughout the night. When morning came she got up and wandered around the forest looking for some food.
“I wish I was back with my family.” thought Midnight as she walked through the woods. She finally came to a meadow that looks like her home with the lush green grass, sparkling waterfall and stream, and butterflies everywhere. But then as she looked around the meadow she realized that on the other side of the meadow was some more of the forest. She saw a dark figure shaped like a dog or a wolf slink pass her eye sight in the distance on the other side of the forest.
