Ripple Creek Stables Part I

Age: 1012 Year Old Nicki Robeson was grooming her chesnut Arabian mare, Sam, when her best freind Jess Teddison Came riding in on her Thoroughbred Quarter horse cross. "Hey, Whatca doing?" Jess asked. "Just grooming Sam. Hey! Wanna go for a trail ride later?" Nicki replpied "Sure! First, do you want to go to my house for Bologna snadwiches? Im starving!" Jess asked "Sure, ill ride Sam over!" Nicki replied "Cool!" Jess said.
Nicki finished grooming Sam, and lead her to the cross ties. She picked up each hoof, one by one, and scraped out all the rocks, dirt, and muck. Nicki patted Sam on her long, sleek neck, and went to get the saddle. Nicki had a black english saddle, and a bright purple saddle pad, and a black bridle to match. She tacked up her horse, and they set off at a trot down the road. As they trotted, they talked about how fun it would be to be on the trails.
About halfway to Jess's house, they saw their freind Kate on her paint, Dippy. They all came to a halt in front of each other. "Hey Kate! Do you want to go and get Bologna sandwiches with us at Jess's house?" Nicki asked "Um, sure! Id love to! But the only thing is, my parents said i can't spend all day with you guys. I have to study for my math finals next week. A lot of people say it EXTREMELY hard to do!" Kate said. "Oh, thats ok! Do you want us to help you?" Jess asked. "No thanks, my mom would throw a fit!" Kate said.
When they got to Jess's house, they untacked their horses, and put them in the paddock. The three girls went inside Jess's house, and said hello to Mrs.Teddison. They went to the kitchen, and Jess got out the bread, Nicki got out the Bologna, and Kate got the sodas. When they each had a sandwich and a Pepsi, they started eating. When they were finished, they set off on their horses for Nicki's house.
"Ok, lets get on the trails!" Nicki said "Wait, what time is it?" Kate asked. "Um, its..." Nicki replied, and looked at her watch, "12:15, why?" "I had to be home at 12 O' clock! I got to go! Ill see you guys in school!" Kate said, and cantered torwards her house. "Ok, im worried. Kate isnt really doing well with math, and her parents allready threatened to take Dippy away because of her grades. I dont think this will end well." Jess said. Kate wasnt very good at math, and she usually got a basic in math group. The order is Below Basic, Basic, Proficient, High Proficent, And Advanced.
The girls spent the day on the trails, and they had a lot of fun! They stopped at Sweets Run to let their horses drink. It was a hot day, so they decided to wade through the water a little. They waded for about 5 minutes, and they got back on their horses, and decided to have a race."Ill beat you to the lake!" Nicki said "No you wont! Only in your dreams!" They laughed and galloped through the trees. There was a log coming up, and they both jumped it at the same time. The two girls laughed, and when they came up to the lake, they couldent believe what they saw.
