The Halloween Thief

In the dark a silent Figure creep up to a building and took out some keys than unlocked the door and silently slipped in than 10 minuets latter he crept out and slid away.

Hope S. rode her Palomino Pony Gold dust down a moonlight path. It was a chilly Halloween night and the pony pals were going trick or treating. "I love being a bandit!" giggled hope she was dressed as a bandit. "I hope I don't have to hold anyone up!" she said to Gold dust.

All of the sudden a noise came from behind Hope "What was that?" she thought than she went back to thinking about trick or treating again "Let's see Pam , Anna, Lulu, Laura, Spellcheck , Me. Who else Gold? She asked Gold dust Than the noise came again "Wha-" Hope began but all of the sudden someone walked out on the path than startled to see Hope Started screaming!

Hope screamed and Gold dust Shied! "Who"™s There??" hope said

"Hope?" said a voice

"Anna! You scared me silly!" Cried hope

"You Scared ME TO Death!" said anna

"What are you doing here without Acorn?" asked hope

"I thought I heard something a came to investigate when you came out of nowhere!" said Anna "will you give me a ride home?" she asked

"Sure said hope hop on!" And on the way there Hope said "I've been thinking you know how Dr. Crandal has been missing expensive equipment from his Veterinarian Clinic?"

"What of it?" asked Anna "Well you see He-"she began but they were near Snow white and Acorns Paddock and they heard Lulu calling Anna. "I'm here with Hope!" Shouted Anna

"Oh I was worried you gone without Acorn!" Said Lulu, running up beside them. They dismounted and hope saw the Lulu was dressed as a naturist that you would see in movies of Africa.

"Lulu, You costume Matches you Perfect!" said hope

"Can't say the same for yours!" giggled Lulu

"Wait till you see mine! In the mean time you and Lulu should Tack up Acorn and Snow white!" She walked toward the house than turned around and said "Tell Lulu you theory!" than ran off.

"What theory?" asked Lulu

"Well 've been thinking you know how Dr. Crandle has been missing expensive equipment from his Veterinarian Clinic?"

"Yes" said Lulu slowly

"Well They have not found any Windows or doors Damaged!"

"So somebody must have the Key!" cried Lulu

"Exactly!" exclaimed Hope "Which means we have to do some investigating!"

Just than Pam Crandle on her pony Lightning Rode up with Laura on her pony Wade and right behind them came Spellckeck on her pony Midnight.

"Pam , Laura, Spell!" cried Lulu and hope together

"hello!" said Laura ,Pam and Spell Together. Than everyone laughed.

Five minutes latter Anna joined them Dressed in a white coat with paint splashed on it and a paint brush in hand.

Pam was a Vet in a white coat and Dr. Tools. Laura was a Trick rider and Spell a Cowboy and had Midnight a bull.

"Now that we are all here I want to tell you something!" said Hope and told her theory!

Pam snapped her fingers "That's it! My dad just hired 2 new guys first Larry than Tom about a week apart!" everyone agreed

"But which one do you think it is?" asked Spell

"And do they have different jobs?" asked Laura

"Larry the person who takes calls and opens. Tom is the one who feeds and takes care of the ones that stay he also closes."

"That's no good!" said Lulu "They both have a key."

Than Hope thought of something. "What if they come tonight!" exclaimed hope

"And what if we were there to watch them!" Said Anna

They rode down Ponypal trail and stopped by the woods "Two of us should stay here with the ponies!"

"But what about trick or treating?" asked Spell

"We can do that after we investigate." Said hope

"And we can trick or treat at my house first!" said Pam and Hope chose Lulu and Spell to go with them but before they left Emma and rode up she decided to stay with the ponies too.

So Pam, Lulu, Hope and Spell set out they made their way slowly to the Clinic when they got near the crouched in the shadows and watched after about 20 min.s everyone was tired

"Lets go back!" whispered Pam

"SSSHH I hear something!"whispered Lulu it was true heavy footsteps approached and a tall man's figure walked toward the clinic he stopped at the door and took out some keys just than Hope lost her balance and stepped on a twig.

The man stopped and turned around!
