The Horse by the Shore

There once was a pony that ran on the ocean shore. The people that were walking on the beach had to jump out of the way because he was wild.  He liked the feeling of the sand under his hooves. He loved to watch the waves and feel the wind in his mane. He liked getting his hooves wet by running into the water. One time there was a huge stump in the sand and he jumped over it.

One day a girl named Elise saw him. She wanted to catch him. Elise walked down the beach close to him and got closer and closer. Each time he kept running away. Every day Elise tried.  One day she almost touched him but then he ran away. The next time she touched him. He finally trusted her enough that she got the halter on. He trusted Elise enough that she could ride him.  She went and asked her mom if she could keep him. She said yes. Elise named the pony Star Bright because he had a bright white diamond on his forehead. He was black so it looked like a star in outer space.

Elise and Star Bright went on a trail ride on the beach. While riding on the beach Elise saw a trainer. Elise asked the trainer to train Star Bright. The trainer said yes. After a month of practice Start Bright was trained. Elise and Star Bright went out on trail rides once a week or more. She found friends that had horses and would go on trail rides. Their names were Cloe and Rose. Together they had more adventures than they ever imagined.
