Sandra Sea shivered .It was a misty morning the sun was nowhere to be seen . Sandra gazed down Winter Oakes long driveway. Winter Oakes was her parents Arabian stud farm.

'Sandra Breakfast!' . Mrs. Sea called as Sandra hurried in side.

'Sandra help me bring Velvet in from the pasture after breakfast will you?' Her father said .

'Okay dad but can I ride Mystc after I muck out Sierra, Moss, Lissa and Hurricane's stalls?

'What about the grooming ,the tack and Thatwork's dirty rug?' Said Mr. Sea.

'After That?'

'Then you will help your mother with the house work and clean the rest of the stalls' Said Mr. Sea

'So no Ride?' asked Sandra

'No ride' Mr. Sea said. After Sandra cleared the table, she proceeded to clean the stalls. Just as Sandra was spreading fresh straw on the floor of Hurricane's stall, her father stood at he entrance of the stall.

'Sandra help me unload my new mare'

'New mare?'

'Yes' said her father, 'come'.

When Sandra and her father reached the trailer, a man was unbolting it.

'So your the folks who ordered the mare' he scowled at them.

'We are' said Mr. Sea.

A few minutes later Sandra saw the most beautiful Palomino mare step daintily out of the trailer .

'This is the horse you ordered ' said the trailer-driving-man ' now I'll be on my way .'

'Bye 'said Sandra .

'Get her in the empty stall on the sixth aisle' said Mr. Sea.

'Okay sure dad ' Sandra said. That night Sandra couldn't sleep, she tossed and turned until she decided to check on the Palomino mare. Sandra slipped out of bed and down to the barn. She quietly opened the barn door and turned on the light. Several Arabians looked over their stall doors.

'Hey guys' Sandra said , going over to a pretty black Arab and stroked his head 'hey there Blackberry ' she said to him. After a while she continued down to aisle six. 'Hey girl' she said softly .The mare stepped forward and snuffled Sandra's hand.

The name plate in her stall was blank. 'A name' said Sandra thoughtfully. The Palomino's coat gleamed in the moonlight which came flooding through the stall's window. Sandra marveled at the golden coat of the Palomino . 'Gold' said Sandra 'Gypsy Gold'.
