Such Heaven

Such heaven

it is to be with you,

As we ride over the tide.

Cool wind whips my mane into your face stinging your cheeks.

You laugh as you urge me over the tide, I wear no saddle or bridle and you no whips or spurs.

We ride into the sunset, horse and girl as a team, as friends, as
companions.

Such heaven.

Dream Mare

My white body

glides through the air as my hooves pound the earth into
crumbs.

The key to my heart

is to get past my penetrating chocolate eyed
stare.

My white mane and tail whip the wind

as a man does his son after a
wrong.

The Arabian that pumps in my veins shows also in my body and head.
I am,

Great Jumper

I was a great jumper

and I missed a jump.

No broken bones but,

You sent me to Slaughter and for what?

We were best friends that no horse could replace,

Why did it  have to end this way?

I will look down at you with love,

From the cloudy
place above.

I now feel that my sorrows are over.

The pain and fear is gone,

But death was painful for me,

I was scared without you beside me when
I got hurt.

I loved you,

Why did it have to end this way?
