Club Pony Pals News

Dear Pony Pals

Each week new features signal changes in virtual Wiggins. This week

  • hundreds of members went to Sanders Beauty Salon in downtown Wiggins and got new hairstyles
  • a new "donation bin" is now on Kline's Hardware front porch, where members can drop off items they no longer want in their inventory --like old saddles, gifts or any extra "stuff" they have -- all donations benefit Wiggins' local St. Francis Animal Shelter
  • loads of new saddle blankets, flowers, clothes and other items were added for Holiday gift giving
  • members who are pals with Pam, Anna, Lulu, or Mrs. Crandal got some special Holiday gifts

Every day hundreds of new members sign up and ask for Pal requests. Take a moment and see who's just signed on recently with our "Pals, Please Page." Our world has some great ways to meet other pals. Click here to learn more. Please send a card to someone who is new!

I don't have pictures of me and my horses, but I do have pictures of my horses! the red tiger dun mare is Boo and the buckskin mare is Domino. Domino is my sisters horse, but Boo is mine! lol, she had stripes on her legs and, if you can see in the picture, her stripe on her back kinda crosses at her withers. Boo has a your dumb look too. she is so stubborn, but I love her! She lips me and when horses lip you ( Move their lips across your hand or something like when they are gromming another horse) Means that they have accepted you as part of their herd and thats what Boo and Domino has done to me, I am part of their little herd. oh, and  Boo's dad is King N Doc Dun Tuffy, a famous (not exactly famous, but kinda) world champion show horse, not joking. And I also have four dogs and two cats, one of the cats we had to bottle feed cause his mother ate all his siblings and only ate his leg. So he is three legged. But anyways, I love ClubPonyPals!

This was made out of a old English carol. We don't sing it that much in America. But my Choir learned it. If you want to know the song this was made out of search Here We Come a Caroling.

Pony Pal Thoughts for the Day

“Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face.”. ~Victor Hugo, 1802-1885

_____________

If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. ~ Anne Bradstreet 1612-1672

_______________

For the unlearned, old age is winter; for the learned it is the season of the harvest. ~ Talmud

_______________

The two revolutions, I mean the annual revolutions of the declination and of the centre of the Earth, are not completely equal; that is the return of the declination to its original value is slightly ahead of the period of the centre. Hence it necessarily follows that the equinoxes and solstices seem to anticipate their timing, not because the sphere of the fixed stars moves to the east, but rather the equatorial circle moves to the west, being at an angle to the plane of the ecliptic in proportion to the declination of the axis of the terrestrial globe.

~ Copernicus: On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres 1543
