Sky, Luke, Roger and Me!

Age: 11I walked down to Crandal's barn to visit Sky, my black welsh pony. He nickered and started to search for treats. I fed him a horse cookie and tied him up, giving him his food while I did his chores. After tacking up, I put a sandwich, two apples and a water in my saddlebag. I let out Luke, my small mini doxen. He raced ahead with my other dog Roger, who was a German shepherd chow mix. He woofed as he and Luke chased after a deer. I worked Sky into a gallop and we went over a small fallen tree. Then we went to the small water bucket that I had kept on the trails for Sky, Roger and Luke. But when I called, they did not come. So once Sky got a drink and an apple, I jumped back on and started to look for them. After awhile, I started to worry “What if they were lost?”
I started back to the stables when my hope went down hill. Then all of the sudden, Sky reared and then he started galloping faster then ever! There was no stopping him! So I just hung on and rode.
Then all of the sudden, I saw Luke and Roger and they were just sitting there, wagging their tails. They started to chase Sky. Soon we were back at the stables. After I un tacked Sky and put him out to pasture, I kissed him and I said,” You found our pals and since you did, I will give you a treat!" So I gave him a carrot. And then, I went home and fed and watered Roger and Luke. Then I got into bed and went fast to sleep.
notes: there will be more to come in the next one Taylor sees that there is a mini doxen dressup contest but will Luke be able to win the doxen dress up?!??!
