Angel Fairy Sunlight by: Moona

"Iah! Iahowa! Iahowa Skattercan! Iahowa Abigail Scattercan! Get UP already!" yelled Barriahn, my older sister.

"That's no way to treat me on my birthday Bary!" I yelled back.

"How's this, I made you chocolate pancakes!" Bary answered.

I stood up and got dressed, brushed my teeth and the long, straight hair hanging to the bottom of my back, and went downstairs.

"Mom and Dad should be back with the surprise no one except them knows about in just ten minutes Iah," said Bary.

I smiled and thought about what it could be. "Quit staring into space and look on the table in front of you!" Bary said.

I looked down at my pancakes and began eating. When I was done my parents pulled up and came inside with nothing.

"Come with me, Honey. I 'll show you where it's at," said my mom.

"Mommy, why are we going into the stable?" I asked as Mom took my hand and pulled me into one of the empty stalls. She covered my eyes so I couldn't see. She turned me so I faced Moonscar, the gray horse in the stall across from me.

"Now you can look Honey!" said Mom.

I turned around. It almost scared me to see that my mom and dad bought me...

"A palomino!" I said with delight.

She stood under the skylight so that a beam of sunlight shown down on her. I started crying with joy as I hugged my mommy. She looked down at my wet, red face and said softly, "She's yours Honey. Happy birthday."

I stopped crying and let go of my mother. I walked over to the palomino and rubbed her muzzle and scratched her forehead beneath her shiny, snow white forelock.

"Sunlight," I whispered as my mommy left the stall and went inside.

After lunch I wen back into the stall to see Sunlight.

Same after dinner.

I accidentally fell asleep in Sunlight's stall. So I slept there! I woke up in the morning covered in hay!

There stood Sunlight, sleeping under the skylight like an angel fairy. "Angel Fairy Sunlight," I said. "You're not just a horse birthday present girl, the way you do that."
