The Call

          I hear the Stream Sound,
          I feel the Wind Whistle,
          I see the Earth's Example,
          I taste the Fire's Fury,
          The Call lures me deep,
          The forest beckons me in,
          What shall I do?
          What must be done.
I step onto the beaten path,
Not sure is what to happen.
          My senses become stronger,
          My vision widens,
          My smell is flooded,
          My feel is sensitive,
          My taste toughens,
          My hearing expands.
          Down the trail,
          my challenge proceeds.
Shall I turn back this gift,
          Or should I take it,
          And leave everything behind?
          My family?
          My friends?
          My life?
I take my choice in a second,
          And stalk down the trail,
          Into the deep forest,
          And leave humanity forever.
